Engage the Antimatter Drive

GLIESE 581c has got to be the ultimate tourist destination. Discovered in April this year, it is the first rocky planet beyond our solar system with anything like a pleasant climate. How mind-blowing would it be just to stroll along its beaches - surely it must have beaches - or watch the planet's red-dwarf sun setting in a scarlet blaze over the alien landscape.
There's just one little problem to consider before you rush to book your ticket. Gliese 581c is 20 light years away - over a million times the distance from Earth to the sun. The journey there would make NASA's best efforts to explore our own solar system seem like a trip to the shops, and to get there in a human lifetime a craft would need to travel awfully fast. Even at half the speed of light you'd spend the best part of 50 years cooped up in a smelly space capsule. So what are the options?
There is no question that conventional chemical rockets aren't up to the task. The fastest interstellar craft to date, Voyager 1, is now heading out of the solar system at about 17 kilometres per second. At this rate it would take 350,000 years before what's left of your bones reaches Gliese 581c. Making maximum use of gravitational fields to accelerate your starship before it leaves the solar system - swinging close by the sun, say, so its intense gravity acts like a slingshot - isn't likely to make a significant difference. Nuclear-powered rockets that harness the heat from fission reactions to create an exhaust of high-velocity particles would cut nine-tenths off the journey time, but tickets for the 30,000-year trip are unlikely to find many takers.
Another possibility is to cruise through space on a sailing ship: make a reflective sail, unfurl it in space, and it will get nudged along by photons streaming out from the sun. This creates a slow but steady acceleration that can eventually add up to some serious travelling. According to engineers at US space research company Pioneer Astronautics, it's possible to make a solar sail that could propel a craft to around 1 per cent of the speed of light. The key, they suggest, is to use a mesh of metal-coated carbon nanotubes. The ultra-lightweight sail this creates, just nanometres thick, could pass close to the sun after launch without melting. The intense illumination, as well as extra acceleration from the sun's gravity, could boost the sail to speeds of over 3000 kilometres per second. Now you would reach Gliese 581c in around 2000 years.

Did our galaxy's black hole eat its baby brother?

Did the colossal black hole at the centre of the Milky Way devour its baby brother 120 million years ago? Possibly, says a team led by Warren Brown of the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory in Cambridge, Massachusetts, US.
The grisly suggestion comes from observations of 10 'hypervelocity' stars that are moving so fast they will eventually escape the galaxy altogether.

Since the first such star was discovered in December 2004, astronomers have suspected that the supermassive black hole at the heart of the Milky Way, which weighs 3.6 million times the Sun's mass, is responsible for catapulting the objects outwards at extreme speeds. In that scenario, a pair of stars wanders too close to a single, supermassive black hole, and one star gets captured while the other gets flung outwards at up to 4000 km/sec.
But alternative models have also been proposed, including a scenario in which a second, middleweight black hole lurks near the larger one and together, both black holes fling stars outwards.
It is too soon to say which scenario is correct. But Brown's team says the observations to date point to an intriguing possibility: that a middleweight black hole did exist near the galactic centre at one time, but was swallowed up by its larger neighbour about 120 million years ago.

Single burst
The researchers arrived at this possibility after studying the stars' distances and speeds and then calculating when they must have been ejected from the galactic centre. Interestingly, five of the stars seemed to have been evicted around the same time – about 120 million years ago.
"It's possible they came from a single burst," Brown told New Scientist. As the smaller black hole fell towards the larger one, the black holes would have gravitationally "kicked out a bunch of stars, and we happen to see five of them".

He stresses, however, that the small number of observations means this scenario is only a possibility, and that the stars may instead have been kicked out one at a time, in unrelated incidents.
The new study also estimates that about 100 hypervelocity stars lie within 330,000 light years of Earth, where many should be observable. Brown believes that as many as 50 may be found within the next five years by future sky surveys.

Those observations may settle the vexing issue of what is slinging the stars out of the galaxy, he says: "Is it a single massive black hole ejecting pairs of stars, is it a binary black hole, or is it something else? I think that's probably the biggest question."

Invisibility cloak turns you into ray of light

While true invisibility cloaks may remain forever a dream, the ability to vanish into an ethereal ray of light is still on the cards.
A device that bends microwaves around an object has been shown to render it partially invisible (New Scientist, 28 October 2006, p 29), but Min Qiu of the Royal Institute of Technology in Kista, Sweden, and colleagues argue that total invisibility would require the value of some of the cloak's key electrical and magnetic properties to be infinitely large - something that is impossible.
A more realistic goal is to remove the part of the cloak where the values should be infinitely large. They have calculated that the resulting cloak renders someone entirely invisible and leaves only a thin line of light in the object's place. The results will be published in Physical Review Letters.

Ruby is a red gemstone that varies from a light pink to a blood red, a variety of the mineral corundum (aluminium oxide). The color is caused mainly by chromium. Its name comes from ruber, Latin for red. Other varieties of gem-quality corundum are called sapphires. It is considered one of the four precious stones, together with the sapphire, the emerald and the diamond.

Rubies are mined in Africa, Asia, Australia, Greenland, Madagascar and North Carolina. They are most often found in Myanmar (Burma), Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Kenya, Madagascar, and Cambodia, but they have also been found in the U.S. states of Montana, North Carolina and South Carolina. The Mogok Valley in Upper Myanmar has produced some of the finest rubies but, in recent years, very few good rubies have been found there. The unique color in Myanmar (Burmese) rubies is described as "pigeon’s blood". They are known in the trade as “Mogok” rubies. In central Myanmar the area of Mong Hsu also produces rubies. The latest ruby deposit to be found in Myanmar is situated in Nam Ya. In 2002 rubies were found in the Waseges River area of Kenya. Sometimes spinels are found along with rubies in the same rocks and are mistaken for rubies. However, fine red spinels may approach the average ruby in value.

Rubies have a hardness of 9.0 on the Mohs scale of mineral hardness. Among the natural gems only diamond is harder (Mohs 10.0 by definition).

All natural rubies have imperfections in them, including color impurities and inclusions of rutile needles known as "silk". Gemologists use these needle inclusions found in natural rubies to distinguish them from synthetics, simulants, or substitutes. Usually the rough stone is heated before cutting. Almost all rubies today are treated in some form (of which heat treatment is the most common practice), and rubies which are completely untreated and still of excellent quality command a large premium. In general we can list the following types of improvements: color alteration, improving transparency by dissolving rutile inclusions, healing of fractures (cracks) or even completely filling them. Prices of rubies are primarily determined by color (the brightest and best "red" called Pigeon Blood Red, command a huge premium over other Rubies of similar quality). After Color follows clarity: similar to Diamonds, a clear stone will command a premium, but a Ruby without any needle-like rutile inclusions will indicate the stone has been treated one way or another. Cut and Carat (size) also determine the price approximately like clarity does.

Various shades of blue [dark and light] result from titanium and iron substitutions in the aluminium oxide crystal lattice. Some stones are not well saturated and show tones of gray. It is common practice to bake natural sapphires to improve or enhance color. This is usually done by heating the sapphires to temperatures of up to 1800 °C for several hours, or by heating in a nitrogen deficient atmosphere oven for seven days or more. On magnification, the silk due to included rutile needles are often visible. If the needles are unbroken, then the stone was not heated; if the silk is not visible then the stone was heated adequately. If the silk is partially broken, then a process known as low tube heat may have been used. Low tube heat is the process whereby the rough stone is heated to 1300 °C over charcoal for 20 to 30 minutes. This removes gray or brown in the stone and improves color saturation.

Synthetic sapphire

Synthetic sapphire crystals can be grown in cylindrical crystal boules of large size, up to many inches in diameter. As well as gemstone applications there are many other uses:

The first ever laser produced was based on the ruby, the red variety of corundum. While this laser has few applications, the Ti-sapphire laser is popular due to the relatively rare ability to tune the laser wavelength in the red-to-near infrared region of the electromagnetic spectrum. It can also be easily modelocked. In these lasers, a synthetically produced sapphire crystal with chromium or titanium impurities is irradiated with intense light from a special lamp, or another laser, to create stimulated emission.

Pure sapphire boules can be sliced into wafers and polished to form transparent crystal slices. Such slices are used as watch faces in high quality watches, as the material's exceptional hardness makes the face resistant to scratching. Since sapphire ranks a 9 on the Mohs Scale, owners of such watches should still be careful to avoid exposure to diamond jewelry, and should avoid striking their watches against artificial stone and simulated stone surfaces. Such surfaces often contain materials including silicon carbide, which, like diamond, are harder than sapphire and thus capable of causing scratches (Scheel 2003).

Sapphire is highly transparent at wavelengths of light between 170 nm to 5.3 $μ$ m, as well as being five times stronger than glass. This leads to use of synthetic sapphire windows in high pressure chambers for spectroscopy.

Wafers of single crystal sapphire are also used in the semiconductor industry as a substrate for the growth of gallium nitride based devices.

One type of Xenon Arc Lamp known as Cermax (original brand name - generically known as a ceramic body xenon lamp) use sapphire output windows that are doped with various other elements to tune their emission. In some cases, the UV emitted from the lamp during operation causes a blue glow from the window after the lamp is turned off. It is approximately the same color as Cherenkov radiation but is caused by simple phosphorescence.

Later, from 1965 to 1970, the Linde Division of Union Carbide produced completely synthetic emeralds by hydrothermal synthesis. According to their patents (US3,567,642 and US3,567,643), acidic conditions are essential to prevent the chromium (which is used as the colorant) from precipitating. Also, it is important that the silicon containing nutrient be kept away from the other ingredients in order to prevent nucleation and confine growth to the seed crystals. Growth occurs by a diffusion-reaction process, assisted by convection. Typical growth conditions include pressures of 700-1400 bars at temperatures of 500 to 600 °C with a temperature gradient of 10 to 25 °C. Growth rates as fast as 1/3 mm per day can be attained^{[citation needed]} Luminescence in ultraviolet light is considered a supplementary test when making a natural vs. synthetic determination, as many, but not all, natural emeralds are inert to ultraviolet light. LAST WEEK'S MUST-REMEMBER

1. The Inter-school Madulang Sabayang Bigkasan : We only practiced for the competition last monday and tuesday. The entrance and exit for our presentation was only taught to us on the day of the contest. Obviously we're not really prepared, so we're really scared because we are carrying the name of our school and surely they'll be expecting a lot from the Ateneo. But with the help of God, we were able to make it to the top. All our sacrifices [and also all our expenses] were worth it. The Brebeuf class was able to bring glory to the school.

2. Exam : Over-all, the exam was a NOSEBLEED. Almost all the tests were difficult at least for ME. I wasn't able to study well.[gaga talaga ako!!!huhuhu]

3. PE game : I played on the 3rd quarter of our basketball game versus the Ignatius class. GRABE!!! Nakatulong talaga ako nang malaki para tumaas ung score.hahaha.. I really don't know the rules of basketball.PROMISE!! The first time we had our practical exam, all I did was to laugh inside the court. There was one unforgettable thing that happened on that day--- SECRET!!!! While the 3rd quarter of the game was about to end, UMULAN!! [nabasa ako..T_T]

~August 25 was such a memorable day. There were a lot of things that happened during that day. I can't enumerate all tonight, maybe next time on my next post. I want to sleep na. good night!!:D

august 20 2007....although a holiday i really can't call it a day for leisure.^_^
we practiced our sabayang bigkasan at Toni's residence from 10-6pm.
and our instructor, mark saavedra..was kinda strict but a very MARVELOUS instructor..we were very impressed at the actions he taught us. i think we already have the chance in grabbing a place or maybe even win at the competition at claret...

VIDEO games are notorious for raising adrenalin levels but now there's one that calms you down.
Julian Spillane of game studio Frozen North Productions in Toronto, Canada, together with a programmer who goes by the name Ne0nRa1n, have created a version of Tetris called BioBlox. Players put one hand on a device that measures their pulse rate. As their pulse rises, so does the speed of the blocks falling from the top of the screen. That makes the game harder, creating an incentive for the player to calm down and so get a higher score. "I'm a big fan of weird input devices," says Spillane.
In 1999, Nintendo released Tetris 64, which also used pulse rate to control the speed of play, but it ran only on Nintendo's console. BioBlox runs on Windows-based PCs and will be available online soon.

And I still didn't study for our exams.waaahhhh!!! I hate myself! I still have a lot of things to do.....:(

BUWAN NG WIKA CELEBRATION

1. We had the Misa ng Bayan. The Punlaan danced during the thanksgiving part*nagkamali ako:(*. Fr. John Chambers officiated the mass [amazing, right?].

2. After the mass, we went directly to the room to have our table arranged. [I was'nt able to take my snacks... I was so hungry then..] We had a hard time arranging the table because we didn't have enough materials for our arrangement. Anyway, we were still able to arrange the table nicely with the limited materials we have. The table was simple but it doesn't matter anymore as long as we arranged that as a class. Right after the judges came, we had our picture taking as a class with, of course our moderator, Mrs. Vesagas. After the *picturepicture*, we ate the food we prepared. After we ate our lunch, we cleaned the room with Ma'am Vesagas again for the next judging of the cleanest room.

3. While waiting for the Laro ng Lahi, we decide to play Hide and Seek. While looking for a perfect place to hide ourselves, we were running and shouting in the fourth floor. The other students on the third floor were like-what are they doing?? what's wrong with them?, maybe they were just like puzzled with the way we acted.hehehe... It was fun!:D

4. We went down for the Laro ng Lahi. There was much excitement because of people *you know na*. It was really Yves and Paula who initiated the "FUN".hehe

5. We went back inside the building for the practice of our interschool madulang sabayang bigkasan. We asked some suggestions from our former filipino teacher-Ma'am Pamela Carmelotes. But before the practice, we played chinese garter*'di na ako marunong:(*

What an adventure!!!!!!

Our group in literature conducted a meeting ,regarding our film, at Mcdo. Supposedly, the agenda for that meeting were to finalize the planned details for our film and decide on our shooting date. After the meeting[we ended at around 3pm], we end up going to our proposed setting-Fort Pilar. Good that we visited the place before we shoot our film there because we found out that it is not open during weekends and during weekdays, it is only open from 8am-4:30pm. So, after discussing a few things we decided to opt for our second setting-La Vista del Mar. We went there [5:30pm] riding on a tricycle. We reached the place [6:00pm] and we went to the office directly to inquire about the horse that we are planning to use for our film. We were shocked when the man in-charged told us that we have to pay the amount of Php 500 if we want to conduct our shooting there. The man also added that we still have to pay Php 500 even if we'll just take pictures inside the resort. [siyempre nainis kami~ako,rizza,mara,melissa,marla at yves~ dahil overpricng sila at wala kaming pambayad at hindi naman kagandahan ang resort para magbayad kami ng ganoong kamahal!!! Nainis kami kaya nagwalk-out kami.. Ang mahal ng pamasahe papunta doon at ganoon lang yaong maaabutan namin?!?! Gosh!]

But then, we still decided to shoot our film there. [pero TNT nga lang... because we have decided not to pay the Php 500]

Ako'y kumuha ng UPCAT kanina ng walang kaalam-alam. Hindi ako handa kaya sobra akong kinabahan kanina bago pa man magsimula ang pagsusulit. Hindi kasi ako nakapag-aral nang mabuti buhat na rin ng sobrang katamaran. Nang nangangalahati na ako sa pagsagot sa pagsusulit ay unti-unti kong nararamdaman ang pagkabali ng likod ko't leeg. Parang gusto ring dumugo ng aking ilong kanina sa hirap ng mga tanong sa matematika. [kabaliw!!] Nang sa wakas ay natapos na ang pagsusulit, ako'y lubusang nagsisisi kung bakit hindi ko lang man sineryoso ang pag-aaral para sa UPCAT kanina. Himala na kung makapapasa pa ako. okaei, before i start, i want the succeeding sentences to be in filipino so just bear with my tagalog because it's not-so-good. hahaha

upcat. the exam was hell(hnd ko alam pano yan sa tagalog eh). more than 5 hours ung exam!. hell talaga lalo na pag hindi ka nagreview kahit konti katulad ko. tapos nun, andami kong items na hindi naanswer kasi kulang na sa oras and hindi ko rin talaga alam ung iba so what i did was, i still shaded all the unshaded oblongs for the sake of shading it without knowing na 1/4 ng mistakes ay idededuct sa score mo. patay!. i was quite oblivious about it. . .shit kasi ung filo part dun, hindi ko na binasa kasi wala nang time pero im sure na hindi ko un alam. so shinade ko na lang kahit lasang lang. shit din pala ung chemistry. iba man un nandun. hindi ko maexplain. makapapasa pa kaya ako? i'll leave it with the ratio 1:9 1- chance na makapasa ako 9- chance na hindi. oh well. that's life. malay mo hindi ako nakapasa sa UP, nakapasa naman sa Harvard(okaei. .im just dreamin'). ahehehehe

Last July 31 was the feast day of St. Ignatius.... It was a holiday.. (Yehey!!)

I woke up early(7am...hahaha..that's still early for me) for our outreach in Socmat at Canucutan Pasonanca. [It was raining. My shoes were full of mud..sheesh!] We went to Canucutan to spend time with the kids. We had a short program for them. We also had a couple of (unprepared) games. We are not that ready. The planned program for the outreach was not followed. there was no electricity in the area so there was no intermission. The doxology became a simple prayer. Despite the not-so-good things that had happened, I still enjoyed mingling with the kids (they were so cute) even though I cannot talk with them (the kids there can't speak in tagalog; they speak in chavacano- unfortunately I can't speak in chavacano so I just let Lourdes translate all that I want to tell them).

After the outreach, we (Lourdes, Tiny, Alyanna And Kristal) went to Mindpro to buy our gift for Toni. After buying the gift, we went straight to Tonyang's house. We ate our lunch there and we also had our practice for the chacha.

The day started with a heavy rain. It was soooo cold. I was 5 minutes late for our Homeroom class.:( During our homeroom period, we had this "personality check". I was not so sure of what to answer in most of the questions. (yeah, i'm still not sure of who I am...) Let's skip the other subjects.. hayhay

Today is friday, so we had our PE class.. We had our practical exam on the different drills that we have learned last week iand we also had an actual game. The actual game was very much fun. We really had so much laughter especially during the turn of the girls to play in the court. There were many violations and fouls. (i'm the highest pointer for violations and fouls...wooohoo!!!hahaha)

After 10 days of waiting for my schedule to permit me to go to the cinema,last saturday, I've finally watched Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix along with lourdes, toni, jp, yves, chim, rizza and nikki.. I wasn't able to read the fifth book unfortunately, but others would tell me that the fifth book is their favorite. I only read the synopsis of the Order of the Phoenix in wikipedia and I can say that all that they've shown in the movie was just the super summary of the whole book. The ending of the movie was so "bitin"... sheesh!! (that ends my entry regarding harry potter..)

Changes?

It is hard to shift from an immature kid to a gentleman. To many changes happened in me when I jump my level to high school from elementary. The environment feels nostalgic. Uneasiness is on my weary nerves. I gave up to many unforgettable memories which just can't get out of my confused mind. It sucks, but it is the high way I chose. Equivalent trade, I gave up something to achieve something I want. I felt I've become a sensitive person, maybe its because I think too much about my feelings and my feelings towards others. Change is really a mystery. I don't know if whats gonna happen in the future. Changes in a person will change the direction of thy life and others life, somehow it's like a chain that affects others.

What if I never change from being a kid to a teenager? Will I ever survived this life I'm having right now, the life of problems and dilemmas? Doubts and lies?

It is quite confusing for me, to understand such phenomena. Maybe I change because of the people around me or the influences in me by my comrades. Maybe I change because of the fact that I am growing up. Maybe I change for it is my destiny in life. Change for the better or change for the worst? I don't really know. I'm confused.

I can't say that my present status is now permanent. I'm still under progress and development. I'm still on a journey to search for myself and I believe that every moment at school, home and hobby place will be one of my memories someday for I change.

I still continue to change because it is a mystery.

Another tiring day....

We had our recruitment day..

1. PUNLAAN: It was quite successful except for the video presentation that we were supposed to show the students. The file in the USB was not compatible with Ces' laptop so we hadn't had any chance to use it. There were many applicants especially from the freshmen. Our gimmick worked. They were all attracted to our "trailer" of Ang Pagbabalik ni Sotero.

2. YCLC: Sadly, we didn't have much decoration for our booth, but there were still a number of interested students who joined the club.

3. SOCMAT: ..not that successful. We were not able to give the questionnaires to the applicants, we were not able to conduct the interview (we rescheduled it on monday) and our booth was not that attractive. Thank God again, despite our booth's dullness, there were many who signed up.

4. ARTIQUE: There were a lot of artworks presented in our booth (mostly are Yochiko's paintings and others were just made on the spot). Unfortunately, I wasn't able to bring any ( 'cause I do not have any artworks at home..hahaha).

5. VARSITY: [CHAMPION banner] There were a lot of trophies and medals in the booth. I didn't help in decorating the booth. hehehe... [suri]

We also had our PE class from 3:15-5:30 pm. I didn't join in the drills since i have an excuse (I just had a fever last night). So my job, along with lourdes, paolo and jason, was to get the balls [in short, sir pelayo's assistants].

*** the only good thing that had happened this day was that we didn't have our class [I wasn't able to finish our assignment in composition and I was only able to do the graph of our Gowin's Vee in physics] because almost all of us were excused.

*This entry is for my July 17 entry, so basically this entry must have been posted an hour ago..(it's already 1:12 am in my watch)

This day started well. It was a cold weather (super sarap matulog!! unfortunately I still have to sudy fil for our graded recitation..hayhay). A typical school day.

In our composition class, we checked our assignment. In literature we had a not-so-interesting discussion (well, i just studied for the graded recitation during this period..suri ma'am.). In economics we had a fun activity, I was just able to acquire 86 pesos (unlucky me). We didn't have religion (yehey!! no quiz!!!) because sir Montojo was absent. In Filipino, we had our graded recitation (unlucky me again)- I was not called and the questions were not that difficult [ANFIR!!]. We had our Comlab session in computer. we had a new lesson about Pseudocodes. In trigonometry, we had a quiz worth 15 points[hope I got it right]. Lastly, we also had our quiz in physics. i didn't quite understand the problem in number 3 [sheesh!]...

It didn't end there. After the class, we (Mara, Qharts and TABA *aka paula..hahaha*) went down to the cafeteria to fix the chairs for the FORUM (July 18). We went to the PPO to ask for assistance, but the one in-charged there told us that their "tauhan" already went home..Aaarrrgghhh!! We didn't have any choice but to do the arranging of the chairs ourselves. It took us a lot of time and ENERGY to set aside the table and arrange the chairs to their proper arrangement. It was very tiring!!

When I reached home, I was not really feeling well!! i had a runny nose (i really hate it!) and i also had my allergies. Worse, i forgot to buy my medicine and we didn't have any stock in our house. i had to bear with it while typing this entry..

Practicing for the cheerdance to be performed this upcoming intrams is so not a joke.
Last Saturday(July 14) we practiced from 1-5. it may seem short, but the things that were done...=)
When i woke up on Sunday, i cant believe that my body was so sore. I could hardly move my limbs...
and that was only our first practice...what more,,, now we have only 1 week left to practice..I really need to take vitamins...=D
Well i guess this sacrifice will pay off, when we successfully perform our..uhm..performance! hehe

A very titing day... we did have our vacant for 2 periods (yehey!) but it's still like we didn't have our vacant (ooohh)... we had a lot of things to do..
1.) physics assignment
2.) our super long activities in trigonometry (well, still can't figure out how to solve the 2nd activity...sheesh!)
3.) poster for physics (too bad for me, i did most of it alone... thanks to tal2 she helped me even though she's not my groupmate... thank you3!!!)
4.) economic problem (for our inquiry paper tomorrow in economics)

Hello, let me add something about myself. My positives and my negatives. I think that the good thing in me is that I always show comfort to those who are in despair, and in deep problem. I don't why I want to help, It just leads me to help them. Another positive thing about me is that I can adjust to any environment in a short period of time. I can be with any kind group, maybe its because I have a trait that can gel easily to different kinds of attitudes. There are many things that I want to say about me but not all facts(could be my own opinion) should be said. Now, my negative sides. I need a sense of belongingness. I have friends that I can be with everyday, but I feel that we only get together because of the same hobbies we have. I haven't felt what a true friend means so I am kinda cold to everybody. Next, I am short tempered. I always lost myself to persons who talk to much and everybody tells that I am "pikon". Finally, when I am in berserk. I really morph into something like a demon or something. Judge me in your own image of me.

Ignore first the Picture of Cloud Strife.

Well, how to put it on. My name is Paolo, I just made this blog for the sake of my grade in computer under the advisory of Mr. Jayson Mahilum. About me, I don't know what to say about myself. It would be better if you would ask my classmates in IV- St. Brebeuf. If I will judge myself, I am a snnubish person as strangers say to me. Maybe its because of how I look and I rarely smile. But I'm not that "suplado", I just get very shy every time I see strangers and always look away. I waste most of my time alone, playing DOTA or just hanging out with my very "makulit", super active, I don't know what word to describe them because they have overcome the meaning of being naughty or nevermind! Basta yun na yun! By the way, I chose Cloud as my main picture because he is silent, always alone, and has a strong heart. I really see Cloud like me in some ways. Like him, I found most of my time alone. I found silence to be a great partner to me. And just like Cloud, I am searching for a reason for my existence. And I found out one reason, I live to fight for my own. I don't know what to say anymore, maybe I will just end it by saying Good bye.

Well, this is ME. :)

Well, this is a continuation of the 1st post that I had. Just around, during our recess, I felt a little dizzy and uncomfortable. I had enough sleep, but I still felt that way. Anyway, during lunch, in the afternoon and after classes, and still, up to now, I feel dizzy and not well. And we have a lot of homework to do. What can I do?!!! Well, maybe I should just rest for a while and do my homework after. But, I still haven't done the dishes! OMG! What am I going to do! :) I still feel dizzy and I think I'm going to be sick. Anyways, this day made me feel sick, uncomfortable and super dizzy.

My post shall end here. I still have homework to do. :)

When I arrived at school at around 7:30 am, the gates were just opened. Some of my classmates, who waited for a long time at the lobby, now went upstairs to our room. When I arrived inside our classroom and placed my bag on the table, I immediately greeted Roshni, because it was her birthday. I will not go so much in to detail with what happened that morning before our classes started. But, when it did, the first thing we did during Composition time was discuss about the 8 parts of speech. After Composition, we had Economics, then Literature, then after a 20-minute break, we had P.E. During our P.E class, our teacher taught us about the basics in basketball, since it's going to be the game that we're going to study. After P.E, we already ate our lunch, since our P.E class is a 2 period class. During lunch, Roshni "treat" us icecream. :) When we finished doing our stuff, we went to AVR 1 because of a film viewing in Physics about global warming, it was entitled AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH, given by AL GORE. :) After the film viewing, we went back to our classroom and had a lesson in Morality.

Well, this ends my post. By the way, we gave the HIDDEN GIFT to Roshni after class. :) I'll not go much into details for this post. :)
